Craig Thor Kimmel is one of the nation's most-respected consumer attorneys specializing in Lemon Law and warranty claims. Since 1997, he has served as legal consultant to the Pennsylvania House of Representatives, Consumer Affairs Committee, and has been credited with writing the first Computer Lemon Law bill, which has served as a model not only for Pennsylvania, but Illinois, Connecticut and California. He also worked with the Government in making two major amendments to the Pennsylvania Lemon Law, the inclusion of leased vehicles and the need for tighter title provisions for used cars. Mr. Kimmel has been interviewed numerous times in newspapers, magazines, television and radio features on consumer issues, and is frequently featured as a consumer correspondent on various news programs and talk shows. In addition, as an expert in the field of warranty litigation, Mr. Kimmel has spoken in front of many professional organizations across the tri-state region.

Mr. Kimmel has devoted his professional career to fighting for the rights of consumers, trying his cases in the Federal and State Courts in which he practices. He has also successfully briefed and argued cases before the Untied States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit in matters that had national impact.

Mr. Kimmel earned his Bachelor of Arts Degrees in Economic Theory from Ursinus College and holds a Juris Doctor Degree from Widener University School of Law. He is an attorney in good standing and has been admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, New York and Massachusetts and is active in the Philadelphia Trial Lawyers Association, the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the New York Bar Association. Robert M. Silverman is highly regarded throughout the legal community and the automotive industry for his continuing efforts in helping consumers with their Lemon Law and breach of warranty claims. Mr. Silverman has been featured in The Philadelphia Inquirer and in other newspaper stories across New Jersey and Pennsylvania as an expert in warranty litigation.

Mr. Silverman has worked hard for consumer rights, trying his cases in the Federal and State Courts in which he practices. He has also successfully briefed and argued cases before the United States Court of Appeals for the Third Circuit.

Mr. Silverman earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree from Pennsylvania State University and holds a Juris Doctor Degree form Temple University School of Law. Amy Bennecoff is a graduate of Drexel University, holding dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Political Science and International Area Studies. Following graduation from college, she earned her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Since law school she has practiced in various areas of civil litigation including real estate, commercial, and personal injury. Her current practice area involves various consumer claims, including Lemon Law, breach of warranty and consumer fraud cases. She is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Angela K. Troccoli earned her Juris Doctorate from the Southern New England School of Law. While in law school, Ms. Troccoli was a member of the Southern New England Trial Advocacy and interned at the New Center for Legal Advocacy in New Bedford, Massachusetts. She also interned at the Office of the Attorney General in Providence, Rhode Island. She has practiced in many different areas of civil litigation including real estate, domestic relations, trusts and estates, probate, breach of contract and personal injury. Her current practice area involves various consumer claims, including Lemon Law, breach of warranty and consumer fraud cases. She is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, American Bar Association and the Association of Trial Lawyers of America. Christina Gill Roseman received her B.A. from Pennsylvania State University in 1989. She obtained her J.D., cum laude, from Duquesne Law School in 1993, where she was a member of the Duquesne Law Review.

Upon graduation from law school, she served as a law clerk to the Honorable Stephanie Domitrovich in Erie, Pennsylvania. She then worked in Detroit, Michigan and Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, litigating claims involving hospitals and physicians.

Ms. Roseman currently practices exclusively in the areas of consumer rights and breach of warranty. She has successfully tried numerous cases resulting in verdicts in favor of her clients against automobile manufacturers and dealerships, including a jury verdict for full repurchase of a vehicle under the Pennsylvania Lemon Law. She is currently co-chair of the Membership Committee of the Women's Bar Association of Western Pennsylvania. Ms. Roseman is licensed to practice law in Ohio, Pennsylvania and Michigan. Jacqueline C. Herritt, Managing Attorney, has successfully handled over 7,000 lemon law and breach of warranty cases throughout her eleven-year career at Kimmel & Silverman. Ms. Herritt graduated from Temple University, and attended Temple University School of Law. One of the Country's most prominent women consumer attorneys, she has been featured in numerous television and newspaper features on consumer issues. Kate G. Shumaker has been an attorney in Delaware since 2001. She is a graduate of Widener University School of Law in Wilmington, Delaware, and has been a resident of Delaware for over 20 years. She is licensed in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware. Kate has broad experience in civil litigation in all three states and has taught real estate law in Delaware. Kate has been a successful lobbyist for parents of children with disabilities and has been interested in consumer law ever since her undergraduate days at the University of Wisconson-Madison. Melissa K. Fiala earned her J.D. from Widener Unviersity School of Law and her B.A. in History from Temple University. Prior to joining Kimmel & Silverman, Melissa worked as a teacher, assisting children of various educational abilities in multiple disciplines. Her diverse career also includes interning with the FBI and working with the Pennsylvania Ballet. Richard A. Scholer is a former Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney who has prosecuted thousands of cases during his tenure with the Philadelphia District Attorney's office, progressing through the Municipal Court Unit, Juvenile Unit, Felony Waiver Unit and Major Trials Unit. His twelve-year career also includes interning with the Honorable Anthony J. DeFino and serving as Court Crier for the First Judicial District Court of Common Pleas. A member of the Pennsylvania and New Jersey Bar Associations, Mr. Scholer received his J.D. from Widener University School of Law and graduated from La Salle University with B.S. in Business Administration. Robert A. Rapkin, Senior Associate, honorably discharged from U.S.A.F. as a turbo/prop airplane mechanic, a graduate of Western Connecticut State University, and a first-round participant in the 1985 NCAA Division III football Champions. While attending the University of Bridgeport School of Law, Mr. Rapkin received the American Jurisprudence Award for Excellent achievement in the study of legal ethics. Upon graduation from the University of Bridgeport School of Law, Mr. Rapkin’s legal career has spanned over 18 years and includes civil and criminal litigation, in addition to successfully handling more that 5,000 lemon law and breach of warranty claims throughout his eight year career with Kimmel & Silverman. He has been featured in numerous television and radio appearances on consumer issues, such as News 10, CN8, and the Big Talker 1210AM.
