Lemon Law Attorneys Named Rising Stars By Law & Politics Magazine

For Immediate Release

Ambler, PA (December, 2005) – Lemon Law Attorneys Louis Dobi, Jr. (Glenside, PA), Shannon M. Ryan (Ambler, PA), and Amy D. Cox (Furlong, PA), associates with the Lemon Law Firm of Kimmel & Silverman, have been named Pennsylvania Rising Stars in a recent survey by Law & Politics Magazine. The findings were published in the December 2005 edition of Philadelphia Magazine.

Rising Stars consist of attorneys who are either 40 or under, or who have been practicing for less than 10 years. Law & Politics sends out surveys to their "Super Lawyers," the top 5% of all Pennsylvania attorneys, asking them to identify extraordinary lawyers they have personally observed in action.

Louis Dobi, Jr. is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Mr. Dobi graduated from Bard College with a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. He received a Juris Doctor from the Temple University School of Law, where he served as the student representative to the American Bar Association and the president of that school's chapter of the A.B.A. Mr. Dobi is currently a member of both the American Bar Association and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Shannon M. Ryan is a graduate of Temple University School of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Ms. Ryan is a member of the National Association of Consumer Advocates, the American Bar Association, and the Pennsylvania Bar Association.

Amy D. Cox is admitted to practice in Pennsylvania, Federal Court for the Eastern District of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and the New Jersey Federal Court. Ms. Cox graduated from the University of Tulsa with a Bachelor of Science. She received a Juris Doctor from the University of Tulsa School of Law, in Tulsa Oklahoma. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and the American Bar Association.

Law & Politics has honored more attorneys from Kimmel & Silverman than from any other Lemon Law Firm in the nation. Founding Partners Robert M. Silverman and Craig Thor Kimmel were named Super Lawyers in 2004 and 2005. New Jersey Managing Attorney Jacqueline Herritt was also named a Super Lawyer in 2005.

Kimmel & Silverman provides cost-free legal representation to consumers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware, and Massachusetts. The Lemon Law Firm has handled more than 35,000 Lemon Law and breach of warranty claims since its inception in 1991, approximately 24% of all claims filed nationally. In addition, the firm's attorneys have successfully represented consumers against several automotive manufacturers in class action suits, and have expanded their practice to include automotive dealer fraud claims and unfair trade practice litigation.

Kimmel and Silverman is the only Lemon Law Firm in the nation to be honored by the American Bar Association (Meritorious Recognition, Louis M. Brown 2002 Legal Access Competition). Their efforts have been featured on Good Morning America, The CBS Early Show, and Extra; and in the pages of Kiplinger's, Consumer Reports, Black Enterprise, and USA Today.
