In 1991, Craig Thor Kimmel and Robert Silverman formed the lemon law firm of Kimmel & Silverman, P.C. with the sole aim of providing cost-free, quality legal representation to distressed consumers of “lemon” cars, trucks, electronics, boats, motor homes and other products. Building the first full-service Lemon Law firm in the Northeast, Kimmel & Silverman blazed a trail in warranty law. Over the past 13 years, the Firm has provided cost-free Lemon Law and breach of warranty help to more than 45,000 distressed drivers, recovering over $140 million for their clients. In addition, they have successfully represented consumers in class actions against several automotive manufacturers, while expanding their practice to include automotive dealer fraud claims and unfair trade practice litigation.

The Firm has garnered a tremendous amount of accolades for their work. In the March 1999 issue of Philadelphia Magazine, Kimmel & Silverman was named “the region’s best lemon law firm” by more than 4,000 attorneys surveyed from across the Delaware Valley. In addition, the Pennsylvania House of Representatives Consumer Affairs Committee have called upon Kimmel & Silverman as the only consumer law firm to assist them in continuing efforts to strengthen consumer statutes, including the recommended inclusion of leased cars to the Pennsylvania Lemon Law and the introduction of House Bill 1817, the nation’s first Computer Lemon Law Bill.
