Lemon Law Advocates Kimmel & Silverman Honored As Pennsylvania Super Lawyers

Founding Partners were honored for building the nation's largest Lemon Law Firm and helping to recover $125 million for distressed drivers across the tri-state region.

For Immediate Release – Robert M. Silverman and Craig Thor Kimmel, founding partners of the Lemon Law and consumer advocacy firm of Kimmel & Silverman, have been named Pennsylvania Super Lawyers in a recent study by Law & Politics Magazine. The findings were published in the June 2004 edition of Philadelphia Magazine.

More than 34,000 attorneys were asked to vote for the most effective attorneys they have personally observed in action, with the top vote getters being named Super Lawyers. Kimmel & Silverman were recognized for building the state's first full-service Lemon Law Firm in 1991 and assisting more than 30,000 distressed drivers across the tri-state region with cost-free legal representation.

In the last 13 years, the firm has grown to include four-full-service offices across Eastern and Western Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware with a team of 16 attorneys, four certified automotive experts and a support staff of over 30 employees. The firm's attorneys have also successfully represented consumers against several automotive manufacturers, and expanded their practice to include automotive dealer fraud claims and unfair trade practice litigation.

In addition, the firm was lauded for working with the House of Representatives in expanding the Pennsylvania Lemon Law to include leased cars and tighter title provisions for used cars. Currently, the firm is working with the Consumer Affairs Committee on House Bill 2284, which they hope will become the nation's first Computer Lemon Law.

This is the most recent honor for Kimmel & Silverman, who were also recognized by the American Bar Association (Meritorious Recognition, Louis M. Brown 2002 Legal Access Competition) and named the region's Best Lemon Law Attorneys in Philadelphia Magazine's Best Lawyers issue (published in 1999).

Kimmel & Silverman have full-service offices in Ambler, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Wilmington, DE; and Cherry Hill, NJ. For more information about the firm, and the services they provide, please call 1-800-LEMON-LAW (1-800-536-6652) or visit the firm's website at www.lemonlaw.com.
