Lemon Law Firm Hires Former PA Senate Counsel To Head New Pittsburgh Office

Pittsburgh Office Designed To Better Serve Western Pennsylvania Consumers

PITTSBURGH, PA – Kimmel & Silverman, a Pittsburgh Lemon Law Firm that has provided cost-free legal help to more than 30,000 consumers throughout Pennsylvania and New Jersey, has hired Susanne Kimberland, former Counsel with the Pennsylvania Senate, to manage the new Pittsburgh Lemon Law headquarters. The office, located at 210 Grant Street in Pittsburgh, was selected to better serve the needs of distressed drivers throughout the Pittsburgh area including Allegheny and Beaver Counties, Johnstown, Erie and the rest of the Western PA region.

With offices in Ambler, PA and Haddonfield, NJ and now Pittsburgh, Kimmel & Silverman has been helping consumers fight for their rights under the state Lemon Laws and the Federal Warranty Laws for more than a decade. Managing Partner Craig Thor Kimmel has worked extensively with the PA House of Representatives for the last four years, expanding the Lemon Law to include leased cars and to protect used car consumers from unknowingly purchasing manufacturer buybacks, and co-writing the Nation's first-ever Computer Lemon Law Bill. Kimmel & Silverman has grown to include eighteen attorneys and is the only lemon law firmin the Nation to ever be honored by the American Bar Association.

An attorney for more than twelve years, Ms. Kimberland received her JD from Duquesne University. As Counsel with the Senate Commonwealth of Pennsylvania, she was responsible for developing legislation and legal research, and preparing oral and written presentations of Senate initiatives. She began her legal career working in the District Attorney's office in Allegheny County and also served as a District Justice for eight years. In addition, Ms. Kimberland held positions with several law firms throughout Western Pennsylvania, handling family and criminal matters. Prior to her appointment with the Senate, she had her own practice for two years.
