What do you do if the car of your dreams turns out to a nightmare?

Many distressed drivers turn to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration to complain. Their complaints often lead to recalls and technical service bulletins.

The cars with the most complaints end up on the annual Car Complaint Index, compiled by consumer advocate Jack Gillis for his annual Ultimate Car Book.

1-800-LEMON-LAW Communications Director Michael Sacks recently sat down with CBS Philly anchor Pat Ciarrocchi to discuss this year’s index and why it is an important list to review prior to buying a new car.

Michael also discussed the importance of Lemon Law rights and how they can provide protection to consumers who may have significant problems “down the road.”
