In For Repeated Repairs? How Do You Deal With The Dealer?

It’s one of the most common questions we receive.  How to I deal with my dealer’s service department to make sure my problem is being treated seriously?  And what can I do to protect myself and make sure I have a strong Lemon Law or breach of warranty claim if the problem is not/cannot be fixed.  1 800 LEMON LAW’s Communications Director Michael Sacks made a return visit to ABC27’s “Good Day PA” to discuss how you should handle repeated repair attempts.  If you are in repeated repairs and want to find out if you are entitled to compensation under State Lemon Laws or the Federal Magnuson Moss Warranty Act, fill out our Get Rid of Your Lemon form.  We will be glad to review your issue and determine if and how we can help.

@Mike: I would certainly look into your state and federal rights. Visit https://www.lemonlaw.com/state-lemon-laws/ for a summary of your State’s Lemon Law.

I have a 08 chysler town & country, bought from buy here car lot 3-4 months ago, I have a problem with brake system locking up took to Dodge dealer repair shop they have had it for over 2 wks replaced parts that we had already replaced and say there fixed but brakes are still locking. Seems like they can’t figure out whats the problem. If they can’t fix it as a consumer am I stuck with a van not fixable and making payments or is there something can be done.
