Lemon Law Website Ranked Among the Best Legal Websites in the Nation
(July 11th, 2004) – LemonLaw.com, a website providing information on the state automotive Lemon Laws and federal warranty statutes, consumer rights, and car-buying, was honored as one of the best legal websites in the nation, according to an independent study conducted by Micah Buchdahl of InternetMarketingAttorney.com (now Justia).
This is the second year in a row the site has been recognized as one of the best among thousands of legal websites reviewed.
LemonLaw.com, which is operated by the consumer advocacy firm of Kimmel & Silverman, received a Gold IMA award and ranked among the top ten law firm websites nationally, in the small to mid-size category. The study was based on five criteria: design, content, usability, interactivity, and intangibles.
In his review, Mr. Buchdahl complimented LemonLaw.com, launched in 1996, as being one of the pioneers among legal websites.
"The website continues to offer up the latest and greatest," says Buchdahl. The site features a rundown of Lemon Law statutes from across the nation, as well as many interactive features, including a Lemon Dodger worksheet to prevent purchasing a problematic used car, and a car buying quiz to test consumers' automotive aptitude.
In the last thirteen years, Kimmel & Silverman has provided free Lemon Law and Breach of Warranty help to more than 30,000 consumers throughout Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware and Maryland, recovering more than $125 million from automobile manufacturers. The firm has been honored by the American Bar Association and most recently, its managing partners were named 2004 Super Lawyers in a study conducted by Law & Politics Magazine.
The firm has four offices in Ambler, PA; Pittsburgh, PA; Wilmington, DE; and a Cherry Hill, NJ.
Micah Buchdahl has been involved in law firm internet business development for the last eight years. His IMA site prohibits vendor sponsorship, advertising, or affiliations of any kind. While offering marketing expertise through HTMLawyers, Inc, Mr. Buchdahl does not sell web sites or related products to any firms. No award-winning firms were paying clients of HTMLawyers.
