Trixie: If your car has been in the shop for numerous repairs, chances are you can seek remedy through State and/or Federal laws. I am perplexed that you are tyring to handle this yourself rather than use a lemon law attorney. Our firm has handled countless water leak and mold cases through the years and we have ASE certified experts on our staff to review the issue at no cost to you. Depending on what state you live in, I am hoping you will call us at 800-LEMON-LAW (800-536-6652), or contact another consumer attorney in your area who will provide cost-free legal help through the fee-shifiting provisions of the law. Good luck and safe driving.

Question-my car is at the shop for numerous problems and i have told them to discontinue work until further notice because I feel like i need someone there to witness the moldy carpet before it gets taken out and replaced. They tell me nothing is wrong with my car yet they will replace my carpet to make me happy. They are also planning on installing an evaporation system for future dampness even though there is "nothing wrong witg my car"! Should I hire a mechanic to witness this as I am getting ready to be in arbitration with the BBB and then I am getting a lawyer. I don't want to go up there because they have treated me like crap and lied to me over and over again. The only reason i keep going to this dealership is loaner car is free. period. Everywhere else here requires car to be there for 8 hours before (they say) GM will authorize a loaner. Can't afford to rent a car when I can get a free one. I realize I should go somewhere else but......

I need to figure out something real quick as I don't want to hinder my claim by not authorizing them to repair vehicle in a timely manner. Shows lack of good faith on my part. Thanks.
